§  Reasoning of record

Google Coral is an edge-AI hardware platform named for coral’s distributed biological mesh — a 150-million-year-old network that sustains roughly a quarter of all marine life on a tenth of one per cent of the sea floor. Google’s product makes that analogy the brand.

The real coral, meanwhile, is in the fourth global mass-bleaching event on record — the most severe ever observed — accelerated by the ocean warming that the AI datacentre estate it is the edge of directly contributes to. The biological mesh network dies; the synthetic mesh network rises.

§  Calculation

BioDebt = £200,000,000 × (2.0 % + 0.5 % × 1) = £5,000,000 / yr
Revenue input is illustrative — Google Coral hardware product-line revenue. NameCount = 1 (Coral).
